Does LensLaber send any data to the cloud?

No. LensLaber runs 100% offline with zero telemetry — in the beta and in the final release. Your images and annotations never leave your machine. The 30-day usage window is checked locally, with no server involved.

Why does Windows show a security warning on first run?

As an independent beta release, the installer doesn't yet carry a commercial EV Code Signing Certificate, so SmartScreen shows an "Unknown Publisher" prompt. Click "More info" → "Run anyway" to continue. The binary is independently verifiable via VirusTotal and SHA-256.

What happens after the 30-day beta period?

Can I use my own AI models?

Yes. Load your own YOLO weights in .onnx format and the engine will run inference locally with no cloud dependency. Currently supported: YOLOv8, YOLOv9, YOLO11, and YOLOv10 (detect & segment). YOLOv10 support shipped in v1.0.1, with zero NMS post-processing latency.

Is the source code available?

LensLaber is proprietary software. The GitHub repository is used for binary distribution and documentation, not source access. Developer identity, scan reports, and checksums are fully public for independent verification.
